Indications: This preparation is generally used to supplement low birth weight infants during the first six months of life.  See comments about vitamin and iron requirements for low birth weight infants.

Toxicity:    Excessive levels should not develop following the above dosing recommendations.  Only fat soluble vitamins  appear to have the potential for toxicity. See toxicity associated with fat soluble vitamins and iron (ferrous sulfate). .

Preparation: Multivitamin preparation plus iron (Vi-Daylin multivitamins plus iron) is available in a 50 ml bottle with a calibrated dropper.
